Irradiated platelet concentrate – LR “Nisseki” is an injectable human platelet concentrate from the Japanese Red Cross Society, YJ code 6342411X3037. It is supplied as 5 units, with 1 bag of approx. 100 mL. This product, containing irradiated platelets, is used to aid in blood clotting and is treated to prevent transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
