Irradiated platelet concentrate HLA-LR “Nisseki” from the Japanese Red Cross Society is an injectable human platelet concentrate with HLA compatibility, supplied in 10 units, approx. 200 mL per bag, YJ code 6342412X1039. It is irradiated to prevent transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and is used for patients with HLA alloimmunization.
