Irradiated platelet concentrate – LR “Nisseki” is an injectable human platelet concentrate from the Japanese Red Cross Society, YJ code 6342411X4033. It is supplied as 10 units, with 1 bag of approx. 200 mL. This product, containing irradiated platelets, is used to promote blood clotting and is treated to prevent transfusion-associated graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
